Ingredients; 2 egg whites, 4 oz sugar.
Method; Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry.
Fold in 2 oz sugar.
Beat again until the mixture will stand in a stiff peak.
Fold remaining sugar in carefully.
Spoon onto a baking tray and bake for4 hours on gas mark ½ 200c.
take out and leave to cool for 5 mins on the baking tray, then take off and put on a wire rack.
eat and enjoy
