Hi because I like BOOKS, and this site is for very intelligent homeschooly-people, I thought I'd start a thread about them.
Sooooo............ anyone have any fave books? (And no, it's not a crime to include Twilight! I like Twilight.) :) My fave book... hmmm... I'll have to think about that one! At the mo I'm reading Wuthering Heights.

Thats a very hard question. Well, my favorite book (well books) would probabaly be all the Elminster books and riding up there very close would be the Rangers apprentice. I've also read the twilight book to see what all the peaple were all in a buzz about and it was ok for me, the weird thing about it though was that i couldn't put it down. I dont know why! Was it the same for you Kit? Do you find this valuable?

Yep! I think I read Twlight in one night (that's when I normally read cos I can't sleep cos I have an over-active imagination and my brain just DOESN'T SHUT UP). Grr! My friend lent me the the next two books, although I haven't read Breaking Dawn yet. It looks good!
I also like Doctor Who books. I like Doctor Who! I don't know if you're into it or not. Alot of people round where I live haven't even heard of it! Shame.

I liked Harry Potter 7 too. Have you seen the new film? Although it's no way near as good as the book. Films rarely are.

I also liked the Harry Potter books. But I hate it when directors mess the whole movie up by killing some important character (not saying they did on this movie) or skipping through really important scenes. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah I agree! It's sooo annoying. Oh, and by the way, I've read Breaking Dawn. It was quite good! :-)

yes i hate when they do that in movies like in Bridge to Teribithia its the worst and most depressing movie i have EVER EVER seen

they made a film of a book called inkheart, and they really messed it up! Do you find this valuable?

I got really annoyed when the directors completely missed out the bit about S.P.E.W. in Harry Potter, cos that was a big part of the book. Plus I liked the elves, so I was a tad miffed when they weren't in the film! Do you find this valuable?

I'm reading a trilogy called The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb, it's pretty good.
I also read The Book Of Lost Things, and The Long Dark Tea-Time Of The Soul recently. Do you find this valuable?

Hmm I feel a little out of place here.. But I shall go on! Im reading a book by Douglas Coupland called The Gum Thief, which is fairly depressing XD Do you find this valuable?
